Comprehensive details regarding the payment plan and the registration process will be provided during registration.

Refund Policy for PYSA Storm Competitive Soccer

No refunds will be offered or provided to the player or the player’s parent/guardian for any reason except for a long-term injury documented by a medical provider. PYSA is relying on the player and the player’s parent/guardian to pay the entire contracted price, even if the payment is agreed to be made over time and some services have yet to be provided. PYSA has, at a minimum, relied on the promise of payment and incurred the costs associated with providing said services.

If a player chooses to leave the club during the season for any reason, the entire season fees, including any collection costs, will remain the responsibility of the player and all responsible parents/guardians.

DELINQUENT PAYMENTS POLICY FOR PYSA STORM COMPETITIVE SOCCER

Players who are not compliant with their payments in accordance with their contract with PYSA shall not be eligible to participate in club activities, including matches, trainings, and tournaments. The pass cards for these players will be held by the club until they are compliant with their payments.

To remain in good standing with PYSA, payments must be made as agreed in the contract and must be received on or before the due date. A player is considered past due when any payment is not received by the due date. For accounts that are one (1) month past due, a $25 late fee will be charged. For accounts that are two (2) months past due, a $50 late fee will be charged, and the player card will be pulled. A $50 reinstatement fee will be charged to return the card.

PYSA reserves the right to suspend the player card of any player whose account is past due.

Players with outstanding balances from the prior season will NOT be issued a player card for the current season until the balance has been paid in full.

Any player that requests a release and has a past due balance for either club or team fees will not be granted said release from PYSA until all outstanding fees have been paid.

IMPORTANT NOTE

 - Indoor facilities (WWIS) require players to purchase a player pass to access their venue, which involves registering through the facility's website. This fee is separate from the PYSA registration fee and may be around $10 per player per year.
- Indoor tournaments are individually priced and managed by each team or coach, with costs varying accordingly. Tournament fees are separate from the PYSA registration fee.

PLAYER AND PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PYSA STORM

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PYSA STORM PLAYERS

  •  Players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with PYSA Storm values at all times.
  • Players shall uphold the highest standards of conduct and sportsmanship, avoiding any actions that may discredit the organization.
  • Players will show respect toward referees, opposing teams, and fans, and will not harass, abuse, or berate referees for any reason.
  •  Players shall not engage in physical violence or threats during games or practices.
  •  Players should come to practice prepared with cleats, shin guards, water, and a properly inflated soccer ball.
  • Players are expected to respect all coaches and adhere to their instructions.
  • Players shall be punctual and prepared for all practices and matches as outlined by their coach. Attendance at team practices, meetings, and activities is crucial for player development; the coach or team representative must be notified if a player cannot attend a scheduled activity.
  • Players will play within the Spirit and Laws of the Game.
  • Players are expected to wear the approved club attire during practices and matches.
  • Playing time is earned and is not automatic. Players will generally receive enough playing time for their development, but the coach will determine an individual player’s actual playing time. Playing time may not be equal in a game or over a weekend but should be measured over the course of the season.
  • The club reserves the right to suspend or terminate a player for repeated red card violations.

 RESPONSIBILITIES OF PYSA STORM PARENTS/GUARDIANS:

  • Avoid 'coaching' from the sideline: Refrain from shouting instructions to your child during games. This can be confusing for young players who may feel torn between listening to their parent and following their coach's directions.
  • Respect the referee: Understand that referees, like all participants, can make mistakes. Officials, coaches, and players should always be treated with respect. Parents and spectators must not disparage, ridicule, or engage in threatening or harassing behavior toward an official, coach, or player.
  • Focus on the benefits of the game, not the score: Emphasize the positive experiences and lessons learned from playing youth soccer rather than just the outcome of the game. While winning is enjoyable, it is more important to focus on the overall development and enjoyment of the sport.
  • Be mindful when interacting with opposing fans: Avoid confrontations with parents, spectators, coaches, and players from the opposing team. Represent PYSA Storm and your child respectfully.
  • Prohibited substances: The use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products, or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs immediately before or during PYSA Storm events, is strictly prohibited.

Parents/guardians and other spectators who fail to adhere to these expectations will be asked to leave the activity. Continued violations may result in the suspension of their child from club activities or termination from the club.

Strong Values. Strong Players. One Storm !⚡

By submitting this registration, I, the parent/guardian of the player, agree to the fees and payment structure set by Pawtucket Youth Soccer Association (PYSA). I authorize PYSA to charge the registration fee to the payment method provided and accept all PYSA Parent/Guardian responsibilities.
